About us
Who We Are

We are an outpatient mental health clinic and rehabilitation program, founded on the premise that adults and children with emotional, conduct, behavioral and other mental health illnesses can be provided with treatment, therapy, and counseling necessary for their optimal health and functioning.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a leader in the promotion of excellence in community-based mental health treatment, rehabilitation, education and research.

Our Mission

Our mission is to work with individuals to attain a life of holistic health, independence, and personal and civic responsibility.

Our Objective

Through a professionally supported program, we aim for a reduction in the number of school suspensions, psychiatric inpatient admissions and incidence of homelessness in our client population.

We also expect to see improvements in school performance and completion, job retention, medication compliance, drug abstention, and healthy relationship between clients and others in their families and communities.

Our Past & Present

Established in 2003, we started out by providing  Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) to residents of Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Observing the overwhelming need for outpatient mental health services, we  added Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) program in 2004. We have since provided Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) program as well as Case Management (CM) program.

We are a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Small Business Enterprise (SBE).  We have collaborated with Baltimore County Department of Health, Baltimore Mental Health Systems, Inc. (BMHSI), Department of Psychiatry of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI), Baltimore Child and Adolescent Response Systems (B-CARS), Woodstock Job Corps Center, Bon Secours Medical Services Behavioral Health and Drug Treatment Centers, Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ) and Mental Health Administration (MHA). OHS Inc. also provided Expanded School Mental Health services to five Baltimore city schools in 2006 and 2007.

Through our programs and collaborations, we deliver culturally sensitive, preventive and treatment services to both children and adults.
